Bring on the holiday festivities or just an evening at home in your jammies! Holiday cocktails are the best. We’ve rounded up some pretty amazing ones for December. Our November ones were great and transition well to December. So if you don’t see what you like for December, there is always the November Edition.
Now, I will admit we weren’t the best at making all of the recipes from November, but we are going to make it happen this month. With all the gifts guides, holiday outfits and black Friday deals, we got a little side tracked.
We’ve shopped till we dropped and now we are ready to relax, enjoy this holiday season and maybe a few cocktails. Here is what we’ve rounded up for all of us! CHEERS!
Spiced Cranberry Rosé Spritzers
YES!!! You had me at Rose’. Found this recipe from Half Baked Harvest which has become a favorite of ours. Dear Tiegen, can we please come visit, spend time in your amazing kitchen and learn your ways 😉 We so heart you!
This one is to make for that party you are hosting served in a gorgeous punch bowl. It’s beautiful and will for sure be a crowd pleaser.
Vanilla Chai Old Fashioned
I have been dying to try this one. I love chai tea and an old fashioned, so how can this not be good?!?! Of course another one from Half Baked Harvest. This one will require a little extra work as you’ll need to make the Chai simple syrup, but overall does not seem too complicated. I’m headed out to get the ingredients ASAP.
Pomegranate Prosecco Smash
This looks so elegant and sounds delicious. Found this recipe from Home Sweet Eats. There is always something so festive about serving a champagne drink during the holidays. I especially love pomegranate seeds in champagne…yum.
Warm Winter Rum Punch
I really enjoyed making the mulled wine last month so wanted to find another hot toddy for you all. I found this one from The Search for Imperfection. This one sounds soooo good and I love the idea of it being rum vs. wine. The main liquid that makes up the drink is apple cider and cranberry juice, filled with spices and other goodies. Perfect for a party or cozy up to the fireplace.
And lastly, if you’ve got cousin Eddie coming over you’d better have that eggnog ready. Last year we wrote a blogpost on our blind taste test of eggnog. We tried different eggnog brands and different alcohol combinations. We did narrow down a winner, so check out Get Your Nog On for the perfect eggnog.
Hope we’ve made you holiday parties a little merrier and bright. Happy merrier making 😉
xoxo
