I think I say this every month, but how can it be March already? I feel like I just posted the February cocktail edition. I guess time flies when you are having fun, right?
We did pretty good the month of February and made 3 of the four last month and they were all delicious. My favorite was the Bourbon & Bubbles, it was so good! This month I wanted to find some cocktails that would be fun for St. Patty’s Day or watching March Madness.
So, here we go…..
The Irish Maid
This drink sounds so refreshing and tasty. I found this recipe from This Worth Life on Pinterest. Simple ingredients with whiskey, cucumber and elderflower it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser. Find some fun glasses and serve away!
Lucky Buck
Found this one from Cowboys & Indians. All you will need it Vodka, fresh lime juice, fresh basil and Ginger beer. These are all items I typically will have on hand, so should be an easy one to whip up. It looks so pretty in the picture and I can’t wait to try it out.
Guinness Bloody Mary
I love a good Bloody Mary and this is an interesting take with adding Guinness. I found this one from A Beautiful Mess. For the bloody Mary mix I plan to use Zing Zang. It’s so good has all the spices already added in. This will be great for that morning brunch or catching some of the basketball games over the weekend.
Black Velvet Cocktail
This is another combination of alcohol that I would not thought of pairing. I found this cocktail from Craft Beering. This drink is simple and just consists of stout and champagne. Just half of each and you have a beautiful drink sitting in front of you. I am definitely intrigued and can’t wait to try it out. They also have a whole list of others that look fun to try.
Well, I guess I’d better get into the kitchen and starting making one of these. Let us know if you try any of these and what you think. Cheers!!!
