It’s fall, it’s getting colder out and the smell of apples and pumpkins are filling the air. Fall is one of our favorite seasons because of all the pretty neutral colors, wonderful smells and sweaters, duh! This time of year it’s easy to toss some apple cider into a crockpot with some apple slices, cinnamon sticks and maybe some bourbon. Or switch out your orange juice in your mimosa with some cider. But we wanted to find some drinks we haven’t tried just to keep it a little fresh.
The Golden Snitch….

It’s no secret we love Half Baked Harvest but it’s because her food and drinks have yet to disappoint. This Harry Potter themed drink is perfect to sip while watching Happy Potter!
Whipped Coffee White Russian…
This summer whipped coffee was trending hard. We didn’t try it but better late then never, right?! Another Half Baked Harvest recipe with a spin on a white russian and the whipped coffee which sounds so good! Dana loves a white russian, can’t wait to try this one!
Pumpkin Apple Shandy…
If you’re not feeling in the cocktail mood and craving a beer but with a little fall flavor, this shandy sounds so refreshing! It calls for pumpkin beer which is everywhere at the moment. We like the Sam Adam’s Jack-O beer. Don’t worry, it also has a little bourbon in it for all our bourbon lovers out there!
Spiced Pear Gin Fizz…
Everyone has been wanting more Gin recipes so we are making it a point to add more, even though Gin is not my favorite. Now Mel, loves Gin so she’ll be happy to see some more Gin drinks and actually make them! This spin on a gin fizz sounds very inviting. Word to the wise, the fizz comes from egg whites.
Hot Buttered Rum…
With Halloween coming up and maybe trick-or-treating, it’s nice to have a warm drink in your hands as your walking around in the cooler temps. Or maybe sitting around a fire pit enjoying the fall evenings, this drink will keep you warm! Really this had me at “butter”!
Cheers to you and to hopefully a lovely fall!
xoxo
