Now don’t worry, leopard print is still in, but leather has been entering my closet at a rapid pace. I am loving all the leather looks this fall. They look so classy and can be dressed up/down and be worn to work.
I honestly didn’t realize how much I owned until I was going through my closet the other day. I love that there are more colors available and not just your basic black. There are some pieces I am eyeing and want to add to my wardrobe.
I think everyone should have a little leather in their closet. Here are the main categories and some great pieces I pulled. Maybe you will find the right piece to start to your collection or add to existing.
dresses…
I have a couple leather dresses (I say leather in this post, however majority of what I own is faux leather, ha). I think they are very classy and look great on all shapes and sizes. Dress them up with fancy heels or throw that blazer on for a work look. Here are some of my new favorites.

skirts…
So many to choose from! Where do I start? I currently own the Commando pencil skirt, but would like another leather skirt with a little more relaxed fit. These are so cute with heels and sneakers. I love the versatility. Check these out!

joggers…
If you have been following us for awhile, you know Mel and I are obsessed with joggers. Last Christmas we both fell in love with some leather joggers. I’ve been waiting for it to cool off to get these bad boys back on. I wore them to work, date night and to run errands. They are so fun and cool. Here are some great options. (need to add spanx joggers)

leggings…
Everyone needs a good pair of faux leather leggings in the closet. We both love our Spanx and Commando, but there are many others to check out this season. Throw on a chunky sweater, some sneaks and out to that fall day you go.

jackets…
We’ve all owned a leather jacket at some point and are probably kicking ourselves for putting that one in the goodwill box a few years ago. Well have no fear, there are lots of styles, colors and price ranges to get that beauty back into your closet. We recommend both a brown and black option 🙂

shirts…
I am loving the leather shirt look, however I will say do not wear these on a hot day. They are not very breathable…phew! Picture me on a horse farm…leather shirt, jeans and 90 degrees.

Eek…let’s get to shopping and get fancy! Hope this helped kick start your love for leather this fall.
xoxo
