Saaay whaatt? How is it November already? I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. You’d think we being in the middle of a pandemic that time would move so slowly. These last eight months have truly flown by. I don’t know about you all, but I never thought I’d live in a time that we would experience something like this, but here we are.
So, instead of dwelling on our current state lets spread some cheer by making some cocktails together. We had a couple requests this time for cocktails, which we love to hear from you all on those. Peppermint and cranberry were the two, so we found some good ones for you to try.
Cranberry Bourbon Sour…

Up first is this gorgeous looking drink from our favorite Half Baked Harvest. I am so excited to try this one. It will take a little bit a prep work to make the cranberry syrup, so give yourself a little time or make the day before. I know we post a lot of drinks from Half Baked Harvest, but Tieghan really makes some amazing drinks and they aren’t too complicated. We love her!
Peppermint White Russian…
You should all know now they we enjoy white russians and different variations of them. Found this one from The Search for Imperfection, such a cute name. If you already have the ingredients for a white russian this one will be fairly simple. You will just need to buy some peppermint creamer and peppermints and you are set to go! Holiday cheer in a glass!
Tart Apple-Ginger Shrub…
What I love about making this shrub is it could be used for different kinds of drinks. Use with vodka, sparkling wine, bourbon, gin…so many options. Found this shrub recipe from All Recipes. Can’t wait to make this one and experiment.
Fresh Cranberry Vodka Spritzer…
This is made with fresh cranberries. So when you are at the grocery store this week, grab those fresh bags that are starting to pop up at the store. I found this one The Wunderlust Kitchen. This is one that you will want to prep the night before or even a couple days before. Another suggestion she has was to give these as a gift. I love the way she packaged them.
Can’t wait to make these and share for you all. If you try any be sure to tag us and let us know what you think. Cheers!
