One of my favorite parts of the holidays is sitting around the table eating all the meals together. With this week being Christmas and then New Years, I’m going to be stuffing my face with cookies and prime rib. I also have two weeks off so no reason to prep, at least not an entire week. Since most of the dinners are covered with family events, I thought I would find some yummy breakfast items that are super easy and not a lot of effort.
Maple Blueberry Turkey Sausage Breakfast Patties
These babies are delicious! Prep them the night before and have them ready for Christmas morning. Pair them with some scrambled eggs and toast! You’re all set! Oh and don’t forget your coffee 🙂
Baked Pumpkin Cream Cheese French Toast
This may not be the healthiest but whatever, it’s delicious!! Prep this the night before and toss in the oven while everyone is tearing up all those presents!
Pumpkin Spice Banana Baked Oatmeal
This recipe is from a local blogger and it’s delicious. I’ve made this a few times and the kids are obsessed. We’ll eat on this for a couple days!
Whole30 Slow Cooker Egg Bake with Bacon & Hash Browns
Breakfast + crock pot = all around amazing! I love this recipe and bonus, it’s healthy. If you do not want to use coconut milk, that’s ok, just use regular milk.
I love making these egg cups! They are super easy and so yummy! Add a fruit bowl with fresh berries.
I have not made these before but I plan to this year! These look really easy and super yummy! I’ll add some scramble eggs to these or maybe even over easy for dipping.
Jen’s Family Recipe
This recipe is beyond amazing! It’s my go-to recipe for when family is in town. It feeds a ton and it’s super easy to make. Prep it the night before and toss in the oven while everyone’s sleeping. They’ll wake up to a yummy smelling house and a delicious breakfast. PS handwritten, family recipes are always the best!
Other Things I’ll Be Making…
Outside of breakfast, I’ll be making one dinner for the entire family and a few treats. Here is what I have planned…
Crock Pot Roast with Radishes and Green Beans
This is super easy and yummy. Toss it in the crock pot and enjoy the day with family, playing with the kids, playing games or even napping.
Maple Bacon Roasted Butternut Squash
I haven’t made this before but it has everything that I love! I’ll be pairing this with the pot roast.
Santa’s going to be eating good when he stops by our house! Pepin always picks Santa’s treat and this year she enlisted grammie for help. She knew she wanted to make pie but wasn’t sure. Grammie gave her the idea of a chocolate peppermint pie! So we’ll be making this recipe and I think Santa will love it. This years recipe was a lot easier. Last year it was bacon pumpkin pie. Clearly she has a thing for pies 🙂
Since we ran out of time to make cookies, I found this super simple recipe that requires no baking. Thought this would be fun to make with the girls. They do love cooking!
What’s not a holiday without some Chex Mix. The girls and I made two batches for Thanksgiving and well it went fast. So we decided to make some more.
We hope you all have an amazing holiday and get to enjoy some much needed rest time. Enjoy your families and loved ones!
xoxo
