Happy Memorial Day weekend! Hope you’ve all had a great and safe time. One of our Memorial Day traditions is to do doing a boil. Normally it’s crawfish, but that was going to be hard to get this year so shrimp and scallops it was so tasty and a great way to start summer off. Weekends are made for nice weather, hammocks and biker shorts. I did get 5 min by myself before the kids came to play pirates. 🤷‍♀️ linking my favorite biker shorts (with pockets) on LIKEtoKNOW.it. Notice Pep’s socks...a battle I passed on ha!

It may not be sunny but at least it’s been warm

It may not be sunny but at least it’s been warm and the kids have been enjoying being outside. I’ve been walking outside to get some fresh air and clear my head. I even met a friend at a park to walk a trail. When we’re all wanting to be outside sometimes a simple comfort food is the best thing for dinner!! Tonight, BLT’s!! Keeping it healthy and making it in lettuce. I love using @primalkitchenfoods mayo because you can’t have a BLT without mayo! Speaking from a southern girl 🙋‍♀️.
